Holla for these holos!! Holo Friday: Cirque "Never Nude" and "Fascination Street"

Happy Holo Friday!!

Today I will show you last two polishes I got from Cirque a couple of weeks ago.  Both of them are gorgeous holos!!  And I didn't even realize that until I put them on my nails!!  I will also compare other holos I have in my stash (in the post that immediately follows this one) so you can decide for yourselves if you "need" the new Cirque colors!

First one up is Cirque Never Nude.  When I put this one on I wasn't too impressed.  It was easy 2 coats but it looked a little... washed out on my nails.  It sorta looked like old, worn out gold.  Now, when I stuck my hand in sunlight (cuz that's what holos are worn for anyway, right!) that was a different story!  Never Nude turned out to be a gorgeous, gorgeous scattered and linear holo of both colors, gold and silver!  I think the name of this polish is so appropriate, even if it looks like your average boring color it is definitely not "just a nude" in sunlight!!  Truly a pleasant surprise for me!

And up next is Cirque Fascination Street!  This one took 3 coats to cover up the nail completely but you could probably get away with 2.  I just wanted to be thorough not to miss any bald spots.  In shade Fascination Street looks navy blue but it takes on some strong purple undertones in the sun.  It is also a scattered and linear holo.  Beautiful!!!

Here it is:

Both, Never Nude and Fascination Street, are part of the Dark Horse collection by the new indie brand, Cirque.  They are both available for purchase at Cirque website for $16/bottle.

So what do you think?  Like them?  or do you feel like you've seen this already?  Stay tuned for tomorrow's post for comparisons to other holos, I have not found any dupes!

And don't forget to check out other fabulous nail rainbows!!

Have a wonderful and colorful Friday!!

  1. I love the gold holo one. I need to get my claws on a gold holo polish ;) for some reason I'm more drawn to light/nude holo shades.

  3. I'm so fascinated by the idea of a nude holo. I know there's a DS nude-ish holo, but I don't remember the name... Do you know which I'm talking about? Anyhoo, I wonder how the two compare.
