Hello loves!
I've come across this color on different blogs so many times within the last week that I've decided that it's time that I put it on my own nails! It looks stunning on other ladies' fingers, and it didn't disappoint me either!! Please lay your eyes on Zoya Zuza!
Zuza is described by its creator as "deep, saturated, oceanic turquoise with gold and silver metallic shimmer
and a foil-like finish. A beachy, colorful, foil-like shade with the
perfect balance between blue and green."
I totally agree with this description. If you'd like my simple in-couple-words description, I'd say it's a mix between green and blue with 65% of green and 35% of blue (don't ask me how I came up with this percentage haha) with warm silvery-golden shimmer. I'm generally not too big on greens but this one is really easy on the eyes!!! It is also bright enough that it is "appropriate" for summer!!
Formula was perfection... nail polish just jumped off the brush onto my nail in two coats and dried almost immediately!! I decided to try my luck in stamping again, so don't laugh at my failed attempts =))
Here's da lady:
Zuza is part of Zoya's 2012 Summer Surf collection and can be purchased at their website.
What do you think of this color? Isn't it so summer-y?
Thanks for stopping by!!!
Zuza is such a beauty and I really like the pattern you made.
ReplyDeleteThanks Helena!! :))
DeleteOh that is such a pretty colour! In fairness the stamp was nearly perfect . It's a really cute design.
ReplyDeleteThank you :)). Hey, at least I'm trying with this whole stamping thing... One day it will all come together LOL
DeleteShe looks gorgeous on you! You know I love it. :) Nice job stamping, also... that's territory into which I haven't yet ventured. I like this one, though, it's pretty, simple, and somewhat abstract.
ReplyDeleteYours was one of the blogs that made me take Zuza out!! I just couldn't stand having it on my shelf anymore without having tried it!! I'm slowly trying this stamping thing, I gotta say that i rather like it... But I'm afraid you won't get anything but simple from me for a LONG time LOL :))
DeleteI really really love your pictures with the flowers. Where do you get so many of them all the time???
ReplyDeleteZuza is pretty and I really like your sweet stamping on it too! So spring-y :-D
aww thank you so much!! Sometimes my hubby brings me flowers but I get them mainly from my parent's garden!
DeleteThanks about the stamping, hopefully I'll improve in my skills =))
Such a beautiful color! This one is on my wish list for a long time.
