So you all know that I'm a little challenged when it comes to nail art. And I really really like challenges!! And unfortunately all the challenges out there must include nail art so I'm automatically out... So I thought that maybe I could think of my own challenge that you would all like to join me in?
I got this idea from Solveig of Nailin It, where she presented her polishes in alphabetical order. I would like to do the same! So here are the rules:
- English alphabet has 26 letters. We would do 4 letters per week so the challenge will take 7 weeks.
- You may post on any day of that week, as long as you go in order (don't do D before C). I figure most girls change their polish 3-4 times a week so 4 letters in a week shouldn't be too overwhelming.
- You may combine 2 or 3 (or 4) polishes of the week together! Like a gradient for example, or nail art. Of course you may incorporate other polishes into your mani, as long as you have something that starts with the given letter.
- If you're already doing a challenge you should incorporate this one into your existing one!! So for example, in the first week my job will be to do Monday Blues with something that starts with an A... Pick a "B" Zoya for my Tuesdays with Zoya. And for Thirsty Thursdays something that starts with a C and maybe stamp it with a "D" polish? You get the idea!
- If you don't have a nail polish that starts with the given letter you may use one of your favorite polishes and make up a "new name" for it beginning with the letter. So for example, if it's time for a "B" polish and I wouldn't have anything that starts with a B, I would use one of my favs, Orly Skinny Dip and rename it to "Beautylicious" or some other not-so-cheesy name =)

And the letters will be as following:
July 16 - 22: A, B, C, D
July 23 - 29: E, F, G, H
July 30 - Aug 5: I, J, K, L
Aug 6 - 12: M, N, O, P
Aug 13 - 19: Q, R, S, T
Aug 20 - 26: U, V, W, X
Aug 27 - Sep 2: Y, Z

What if one week I can't post? what if I miss a letter? and so on...
Also - I have three questions:
1. you wrote "don't do C before D" I suppose you meant the other way around, right? ;-)
2. if I do a gradient, can it combine the letters to? That is a gradient for C with D? or do all colors have to be of the same letter?
3. it's more a suggestion then a question - you can use inLinkz (http://www.inlinkz.com) and then you will be able to post the thumbnails of everyone participating ;-))
and now I will go start working on myself mentally to join in!
Hey Jin!! Here are the answers:
Delete1. I must have been high on nail polish fumes when I wrote this, yes, I meant 'no D before C' of course :)
2. If you do a gradient or any kind of nail art just make sure that you have the letter that is 'due'. So if its time for a C then you make a gradient with a C polish and anything else you want. You could even do nail art with all four letters (A, B, C and D) and be done for a whole week!
3. I sent you an email on that one, I was researching that already!!! I love how everyone can see all the other participants all at once!!
