Comparison: China Glaze "Want My Bawdy" vs OPI "Into the Night"

Hi girlies!!

As promised, here's the comparison of China Glaze "Want My Bawdy" and OPI "Into the Night".  Are they dupes???  Read on after the jump to find out!!!



They're not exact dupes... but they are very very VERY close!  I don't even know if you can tell the difference from these pictures!


Here are the differences:
1) "Want My Bawdy" has a little bit more depth.  Not much, but it's noticeable
2) "Into the Night" has just a tiny sprinkle more of shimmer
3) "Into the Night" takes 3 coats for full opacity, "Want My Bawdy" only two.

I gotta say, I'm a HUGE blue lover but I think I can live without one!!  So I chose China Glaze, and OPI is going into my 'away' bin.  I will have to have a sale/swap pretty soon because that basket is filling up!

What do you guys think?  Can you even tell the difference?  Which one do you prefer?

  3. How many posts do you write in 24 hours??? I feel so lame :-(
    Yeah I guess these are dupes which is great cause I won't be getting the opi. But other then being cheaper i find the CG a lot richer in its color. I see the difference in all pics except the last one, and I totally love CG much better!

    1. Dude, I should be the one who feels lame, it's like I don't do anything but my nails all day long (I swear I shower though!! Haha)
      It's usually one post a day but since I started doing comparisons I guess it's 2 posts per day... Hey not my fault my crack collection is so big!! Oh wait... It is my fault!! :)). Comparisons don't take that long anyway :). And I can save ppl some $$!!

    I was lusting after the OPI. I got the CG, and I prefer it on your photos. You prevented me from buying the OPI :-)
