Today's polish is the only one in my collection that starts with a Q!! I was lucky enough to get it on e-Bay last year (and yeah, I paid pretty penny for it too!). So for the letter Q of the ABC challenge I'm showing you the classic, China Glaze QT!
QT is a berry toned fuschia with a linear holo effect. Compared to the other outstanding holos out there (Layla, Nfu) this one is relatively weak, nevertheless still beautiful!!
2 coats for this one, and I covered it with a layer of SV topcoat which did not weaken the holo effect!!
And I'm continuing to play with stamping... I'm getting slightly better!!! wohoo!!! For my accent nail I chose BM-224 (whole nail coverage, who would have thought, I'm moving up in the world!! haha) and Konad white stamping polish.
So don't hate me, as you all know, this polish is VHTF... available on evil-Bay only =(( But it's the only Q polish I have!!!
QT originally came out in early 2009 in China Glaze OMG collection.

DeleteLove it! I don't have any from the OMG collection. I think Q was likely one of the hardest letters, I used cult nails Quench but I was thisclose to forgetting I had it lol. Your stamping is great :)
ReplyDeleteAaww you're the best!! I really think I'm getting better at stamping!! Still FAR from perfect, but I truly believe that more practice will get me there! I don't have Quench yet, but I'll probably get it one day!!! Heading over to your blog to check it out...

I was at a play date with my 4yr son today, when his friends 13 yr old sister was browsing my blog and saw the thumbnail picture to this post and ask me if I could do THAT for her! DeleteHa, ha!! I only have ONE Q polish too!! Wish I could say mine was QT! =( I am slowly adding the OMG polishes to my collection as I can find reasonably priced ones or people willing to swap for something other than my first born. I'm kinda attached to him now that he is potty trained! =) Love QT. It's beautiful on you too! I'm hopeful for the Hologlam collection too! I hope China Glaze learned their lesson after Tronica. Ugh.
