Monday Blues: Art of Theft

Hi girlies!!

Monday, Monday!!  is it vacation time yet???
I had a loong (but good!) weekend and it's gotten better once I put this polish on!  The theme of my personal theme challenge will be Art for the next two weeks!!  I've got all kinds of things planned, using a few colors in one mani, and nail art!!  I will try to be artistic for this Art theme haha =))

I'm really glad that Mihaela voted for Art theme because most polishes I have that contain something with 'art' in the name are Finger Paints polishes, and they're one of my favorite brands!!  I went through all of them and it looks like you will be subjected to lots of purples and browns!!  I hope you're ready!! =)  good thing it's fall, so they will be season appropriate!

Without further ado, the first polish to show its pretty face is Finger Paints "Art of Theft."

Art of Theft is a beautiful rich dark blue with purple shimmer that comes out to play under artificial lighting and in sunlight.  2 coats for this beauty, no problems with application!  I applied OPI "I Don't Give a Rotterdam!" on my accent finger (light blue with dark blue shimmer) for contrast, and added blue rhinestones that I got from Born Pretty Store.  I am addicted to rhinestones!!!

Art of Theft is part of permanent line of Finger Paints nail polish and can be purchased at any Sally Beauty Supply.

Don't forget to check other beautiful blues!

  2. Yay for art! I really can't wait to see all the creative posts. I'm sure they will be awesome!
This is a great shade of blue. I love these for fall and winter. It looks similar to OPI Yoga-ta Get This Blue. And I love the look of the one rhinestone near the cuticle lately. I really wanted to recreate that but I don't have any rhinestones so I think I'll use hearts or something else. Love this mani!

  3. Cool and modren look. I very much love these :) I need to pull out rotterdam... or wait, do I have Herring Problem? I can't even tell the difference! And a side note: why would OPI release those 2 shade in the same collection? can't one wait until the next round? lol Oh well!
