Tuesdays with Zoya: Lauren and... Twilight! Plus a mini-giveaway!

Hey guys!!

First off, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all of you on the East Coast.. I hope Sandy takes it easy on all of you in her path!

Today's Tuesdays with Zoya features Zoya Lauren, with an addition of little SpaRitual Twilight.  Speaking of Twilight... you all know my thoughts on "Fifty Shades of Grey"!  What about Twilight series you say?  Well.. would you all lose respect for me if I told you that I didn't think it was that bad??? (<-hiding behind brick walls!!)  Maybe it's the whole immortality of vampires idea that intrigues me, or the lack of "Oh Ana baby!!!" every three lines? (btw, who in the world carries so many condoms at once?!!!)  But I diverge.  So Twilight.  I thought the books were much better than the movies.  Sorry to all Kristen Stewart lovers out there but the girl cannot act!  At least not in this movie..  so here are my 3 cents on "Twilight" and additional 5 on "Fifty Shades".  Don't unfollow me please!!! =))))

I gotta admit, this is not one of my favorite manis I've done... it looks like it's dirty.  But anyway, here's what I used:
I painted all my nails with Lauren, "a warm pink-kissed light beige with very fine gold and copper metallic shimmer" according to Zoya's description.  I was sure I wouldn't like this color but I was very pleasantly surprised when I put it on the nail!  The shimmer won me over, as it usually does on 'boring' colors.  Three coats of Zoya perfect formula.
Then I sponged my tips with Twilight, a dark purple shimmer.  I really have to apply it by itself sometime, it looks very interesting from the sponging experiment!

Then I applied some stickers from Joby Nail Art that were kindly sent to me by Erica for review.  Ever since I discovered stamping I don't reach for nail stickers that much, but partially it's because the stickers I currently own are pretty crappy... They either don't lay flat on the nail and come off after 5 min, or they tear while I try to peel them off the paper.  These didn't have any of these issues!!  Peel, slap on the nail (flat!), some topcoat, and I was ready to go!  For someone in a hurry (like me!) and/or artistically challenged (me again!!) these are perfect!  Especially since they have all kinds of designs ranging from jewelry stickers to flowers and Holidays.  Look for all of them at Joby Nail Art website!!

Lauren is part of Zoya's Spa Essentials collection available for sale at Zoya website.
Twilight is part of SpaRitual Twinkle collection released for Holidays 2011 and can be purchased at AveYou website.
The stickers, again, are available from the Joby Nail Art website!  Free USA shipping as well!

Erica also donated a sheet of stickers for a giveaway for my followers!!!  Thanks so much Erica!!
Fill out the Rafflecopter below for a chance to win them!  International entries welcome =)

  5. Lauren is gorgeous! I would really get it if I could order from Zoya's website. And I love your gradient. Really pretty!
I haven't read Twilight but I do love vampire books and my favorites are the ones from Anne Rice. If you like the idea of immortality you will surely like those. The first 2 in the series (Interview with the Vampire and The Vampire Lestat) are very good.
