Where In The World: USA

Hi girls!

It's time for travels again!!  Not so much for me since today's country is the one I'm residing at right now, USA!

First off, no that's not chicken on my accent nail although it sure looks like it!!  Keep reading to find out what monstrosity it is that I came up with =))

First I painted all my nails with Models Own "Blooboo", a gorgeous sky blue that took 2 coats to cover up the nail.  The bottle shows the most amazing purpleish shimmer which unfortunately does not translate to the nail AT ALL!!!  bummer about that!  really great formula on this.

the shimmer in the bottle stays just there - in the bottle =(
Then I painted around my nails next to my cuticles with Zoya 'Trixie".  I wanted to achieve the look of the Arch in St. Louis (that's where I live now!), otherwise knows as the Gate to the West.

And then everything went to shit.  I decided to add something on my accent nail and what is USA so known for?  Baseball of course!!  So I tried to freehand a baseball which turned out to be a MAJOR fail.  I contemplated whether I should post it anyway, but I was too embarrassed to do it!  The stamp that I went with is supposed to be of an eagle, since the bald eagle is the USA's national emblem.  I used Konad white polish and the mega plate by Cheeky.  The image transferred fine and I effed it up by adding some color to it for the beak and the feathers.  That's why it looks like sick chicken!!

Hope you have a wonderful Sunday!!! =))  Thanks for stopping by =))

  4. Haha you are too funny! I actually thought it was something Native American inspired when I saw it the first time. But then I realized what it was and it's so cute! And you had a great idea with the arch. I didn't know about it until now. All I know about St. Louis is from the movie "Meet me in St. Louis" hehe. Oh and that blue is so amazing!
