Quick comparison of Color Club "Harp On It" that I just showed you here. Unfortunately I don't have any really strong or 'famous' silver holos like GOSH, FNUG or China Glaze OMG. I dug out the only other silver holos from my stash, and these are Color Club "Worth the Risque" and Nfu #61. Here's how they compare to "Harp On It"!
As expected, "Worth the Risque" wasn't even close in holo effect as "Harp On It". It is mostly a scattered and a very very weak linear holo. The base color seems similar to "Harp On It". Two coats.
Nfu #61 is more similar to "Harp On It" but it has weird metallic 'patches'. I don't know if it's only my polish? Color Club creates this uniform rainbow across the whole nail while Nfu has patches of silver in between... in addition, the polish itself seems to have 'curds', like in a milk gone badly. They level out on the nail, I just thought it was strange. Do you guys have that problem too?? Aqua base required for this one and 2 coats.
Thanks for reading!!
I used to love Worth The Risqué. Doesn't compare.
ReplyDeleteI know, right!!! This collection takes all holos by the horns!!
DeleteI now want Harp on it! I actually have a lot of holo polishes, Mount Olympus polishes, but no silver yet.
ReplyDeleteMe too!!! Harp On It seems the prettiest of them all :))
DeleteSo prettyyy xx don't own any holo nail polish yet
ReplyDeleteOh no!!!!!! Fix it immediately!!!!! :))

ReplyDeleteGreat comparison as always!!
But my keyboard is dry and clean today. HA! :-D
Hahaha my keyboard was wet when I started applying it!!! :)). I want to see some of these on you!!
DeleteThanks to your Holo Hues comparisons I bought one from this collection, and now I want them all!!!
ReplyDeleteI just love linear holos so much! When I first saw those I wondered how they compare to the existing holos, you just answered my question, thanks a lot! :-)
My Nfu.Oh 61 is the same - it's got too much of a chrome finish so the holo gets a bit lost unless viewed obliquely :( Think I need Harp On It!! xx
