Hey beauties!!
Second post today!!! I've decided to challenge myself some more and joined Crumpet's Nail Tarts Winter Holiday Challenge!! I love, love challenges, and I love the holidays, so this is so up my alley!!
Today's challenge calls for snowflakes and snowfall. I really wish I could summon the real stuff through my nails! It's been so warm over here, it got up to 77 degrees (F) over the weekend!! Ridiculous stuff!! Where's all the snow and coldness??? Apparently just on my nails =) Hope you like!
First I applied two easy coats of OPI "Sea Ya Later, Sailor!" over a black base. It's a teal-y sheer green that really pops over a dark base. One coat showed the color pretty well but I applied two for more even coverage.
Next I stamped different types of snowflakes with Konad white polish and jumbo Cheeky plate L (it has 10 different snowflake designs!!). Next I lightly sponged on China Glaze "White On White" to imitate accumulation of snow.
Sea Ya Later, Sailor! is part of OPI Retro Fun In the Sun collection released way back in summer of 2008.
Now I only need the same thing from my nails in real life!!! Snow gods, are you listening??!!!
And here's what you can expect from me during the marked days!!

Beautiful mani! It looks like you have snow on your nails! So awesome! :-)
