Hi girls!
I'm starting to learn just how very unforgiving the camera closeups are!! I knew I really had to take care of my cuticles for nice pictures, but now even the polish has to look absolutely perfect!!
I've got a new polish to show you today, China Glaze "Duplicityy" which is really cool but very very camera shy. I literally remade this mani (with different designs!!) FIVE times because my fingers looked pretty cool at eye level but really shitty at closeup.. Finally I achieved something that I can show you here!
Read on more after the jump to see what I used!
First I used 2 thin coats of OPI DS "Radiance", a perfect shiny metallic silver. Look how it shines!!
It dried very fast so I didn't even have to put on topcoat. Next I applied stripes of Duplicityy to my tips for a funky French effect. It's a one coater in a beautiful minty green shade. I tried stamping with it in my previous fail designs and it is just perfect for stamping!!
Duplicityy dries very very fast! To show the transition effect of this polish I made 3 dots on each tip with China Glaze Fast Forward TopCoat, which changed the polish into 3 dark green dots. Pretty cool effect!!!
One word about this polish: the biggest difference in the shades is seen when top coat is applied on top of the already existing Tranzition polish. In one of my designs I stamped stripes with this polish over the silver base and painted every other stripe with topcoat. The difference in shades was barely noticeable!
Duplicityy is part of China Glaze Tranzitions collection, just released and available for purchase at all China glaze retailers.
What do you guys think of this polish and this concept? I personally find it intriguing and will use it a lot, especially when in a rush and in need of some really fast nail art!!
