New 31DC: Day 29 - Inspired by a Blogger

Hi ladies!!

Today's challenge calls for a mani inspired by a blogger.  First off, I wanted to thank Debbie for making this challenge!  If it wasn't for her, I would never have met wonderful ladies who took part in it, and I would never find the blog of the blogger who inspired me to do this mani!  I'm talking about Lydia of Lydia's Nails.  Once I saw her blog I immediately became a follower, her manis are always so perfect looking and her nail art is spectacular!!  Lydia, if you are reading this, thank you so much for your inspiration!!! =))

Even though this trend may be passing, I still really really like magnetic polishes.  And I'm really glad Lydia does too!! =))

For this mani I used Finger Paints "Hipnotic", a purple magenta with two easy coats.  I applied the magnet to my middle and pinky fingernails.

I stamped my ring nail with a zebra print using BM-223, and instead of rhinestones, I applied some silver glequins to my pointer finger.

What do you guys think?  I hope I did this mani justice!!
Lydia, thank you so much for your beautiful inspiration again!!!  I hope I didn't butcher this up too much!!! =))  I'm so glad I found your blog! =)

  1. I love the idea of using the magnetic polish for a skittle manicure. I love magnetics, but having the magnetic pattern on every nail is a bit too much of the same for me. This is a perfect solution! And, nice try, trying to slip that monkey by us, ROFL!!!

  3. I love this! I still love the magnetic polishes. I do not care how old the trend is I am still gonna rock mine! I love the idea of using it as accent nails instead of an entire mani. I think that is a bit overkill! Thanks for sharing!
