I've got a comparison of one of the newest China Glaze colors from the Avant Garden collection (shown here) to other colors. See below if it's something you need or you can do without!!
First I compared China Glaze "Electric Beat", a shade released at the same time last year. It's definitely different than "Fade Into Hue", no purple undertones, but instead it's a greyed out blue. 2 coats.
Next I reached for Essie "She's Picture Perfect". This one was definitely more lilac-like, and containing some shimmer. 2 coats.
Next I grabbed China Glaze "Peri-Wink-Le". It actually looked a lot different in the bottle, but it turned out to be pretty close to "Fade Into Hue" on the nail. It is just a one hue darker, and "Fade Into Hue" may have just a tiny touch more purple undertones. 2 coats. I personally think that they are so close that if you have one then you will not need the other!
I don't know about you, but I immediately thought about Zoya "Caitlin" when I went for this comparison. "Caitlin" turned out to be much darker, rather a mix between grey and periwinkle. 2 coats.
Finally, I compared Color Club "Shabby Drab". Again, it looks like a mix between grey and periwinkle, but a little lighter than Zoya. 2 coats of not very user friendly formula, this one is going into my swap/sell bin!
So.. will you be needing "Fade Into Hue"?
Hope you found this helpful!!
