Thirsty Thursdays: Flirtini Martini

Hi girls!!

I'm not sure if I've told you but when I go to the mountain, I have a 24-hr layover in Dubai.  I am so so excited!!  I'm fascinated with the Middle East culture and I truly cannot wait to experience it myself!

I've been re-watching (and make my hubby suffer at the same time LOL) Sex and the City #2 (the one in Abu Dhabi) for a little preview (I can never get enough of this movie and the series!!!).  And when the time came to post for the Thirsty Thursday, I figured that the official Flirtini Martini from the movie would be in order!!!  The drink is inspired by the gorgeous holo, Mentality "Flirt".  Check it out!

Flirt is a "soft red holographic polish with red accent flecks".  Holo is mainly linear and not too strong, but beautiful nevertheless!!  And here's a kicker:  ONE coat is what you see in these pictures.  ONE!!!!

As you all know, I can't leave nail polish alone as it is, so I threw in some triangular rhinestones.

Flirt is part of Mentality Nail Polish Precious Holo collection released late 2012.  It can be purchased on Hillary's (the creator of this polish) Big Cartel site for only $8/bottle (shipping included!).  Also, make sure you follow her on Facebook for latest news on collections!!

And now it's time for this kickass cocktail!! (kickass because it's from Sex And the City of course!!)

Well that sounds pretty easy to make and oh-so-refreshing!!!
Thank you all for 'flirting' with me tonight and attending the weekly happy hour!!!  Have a wonderful evening =)

  1. I don't know if it's because i'm in the right mood or because of the pineapple but this cocktail sounds perfect for me right now!
And sorry, I can't stand Sex And the City... LOL

And this mani is awesome!!! Every time I see it on you, I keep telling myself I need to get me some shaped gems. But somehow... when I get to see them in store - I don't like them so much... Go figure...

And Flirt is GORGEOUS!!! The Middle East - a bit less :-P

  2. Love the polish but the rhinestones are so awesome! I think I ordered some triangular ones but they never showed up. Have to order again.
Dubai sounds exciting! I saw the movie and didn't like it at all, but I did like the location. Just not the plot and the whole "first world problems" thing going on in the movie. Oh well. Still love the series.
