I'm not sure if I've told you but when I go to the mountain, I have a 24-hr layover in Dubai. I am so so excited!! I'm fascinated with the Middle East culture and I truly cannot wait to experience it myself!
I've been re-watching (and make my hubby suffer at the same time LOL) Sex and the City #2 (the one in Abu Dhabi) for a little preview (I can never get enough of this movie and the series!!!). And when the time came to post for the Thirsty Thursday, I figured that the official Flirtini Martini from the movie would be in order!!! The drink is inspired by the gorgeous holo, Mentality "Flirt". Check it out!
Flirt is a "soft red holographic polish with red accent flecks". Holo is mainly linear and not too strong, but beautiful nevertheless!! And here's a kicker: ONE coat is what you see in these pictures. ONE!!!!
As you all know, I can't leave nail polish alone as it is, so I threw in some triangular rhinestones.

Ingredients:
1 oz. vodka
2 oz. champagne
2 oz. pineapple juice
2 oz. champagne
2 oz. pineapple juice
Directions:
Combine vodka, champagne, and pineapple juice in a highball or collins
glass filled with ice. For a party multiply recipe and mix in a pitcher.

ReplyDeleteDubai sounds exciting! I saw the movie and didn't like it at all, but I did like the location. Just not the plot and the whole "first world problems" thing going on in the movie. Oh well. Still love the series.
