Another week, another Monday.. gah! where do the weekends go?
Today's mani features a new-to-me indie brand. I actually re-did this look 3 times! I wanted to do a white accent nail and stamp over it but somehow the stamp would always come out crooked or incomplete. Finally I said to hell with it, and did the whole mani with one color. Obviously the nail polish gods intended me to do it that way! Check out what my thoughts are on Alter Ego "Beach Comber" after the jump!
Beach Comber is a aqua-ish blue filled with greenish/aqua shimmer. It took two coats of smooth formula to cover the nail completely.
I applied a flower water decal from KKCenterHK. My example shows you that you have to work fast when placing these decals on your nails. They tend to stick to the surface very quickly, and I wasn't able to unfold the bottom petal of the flower since I took my sweet ass time while applying it.
Beach Comber is one of Alter Ego polishes created with love by Cynthia. It is available for purchase for $8.50/bottle here. Also, don't forget to follow her on Facebook for news about upcoming collections!
Have you tried this brand yet? I'm so glad I did!!! What a gem in my collection!!
